Three Day Rally

Thursday 31^st July 2008 to Saturday 2^nd August 2008

Dear parents and guardians, 

Welcome to preparations for this years Three Day Rally.

The costs this year are £55 (£45 for second and subsequent children). The times are 10am prompt (ie in your ride ready for inspection) to 3.30pm (approx depending upon weather!!).

The rally is open to all PC members 12 years old and under (as of 01.01.08).  Days 1 & 2 will be instructional and day 3 will include fun competitions. Each morning the Instructors will inspect and mark the turnout of pony and rider in accordance with the standard, which will be sent to you on payment (don’t panic nothing new!!). Ties, badges and sweatshirts are available from the branch secretary in advance and we will have some items for sale at the rally as well as a second hand tack stall.

Bring your lunches for Days 1 & 2, a BBQ is planned for the 3^rd day free to all riders and a £1 to everyone else. A tuck shop will also be available.

Please return the booking form and a non-returnable deposit of £25 per child to Lisa (address below) by 15th April and the remaining amount by 1^st July.  If you wish to pay the whole amount in one go (therefore, losing the risk of forgetting it!) please send  a cheque by the 15th April. Please make cheques payable to ‘Monmouthshire Hunt Branch of the Pony Club’.  We need the deposit early in order to book our instructors who are all busy people.

Rally programmes will be sent out on receipt of complete payment. There will also be a chance for those who are ready to take their D (8-9yr olds) / D+ (10 –11 yr olds) tests at the rally, please indicate on booking form. If you have any queries about these tests please ring Kathy Watts on the number below and she will be happy to help.
We also need assistance for setting up on the Sunday night, about 6pm would be appreciated for about an hour!!!
